Hawthorn Football Club Centenary Gin, MCC Label

Over the past few years, Patient Wolf has continued to build out its brands association and affiliation with arts, sports, music, fashion and culture. Leveraging their brand positioning as an urban distillery from Australia’s cultural beating heart, Melbourne.

2025 is a special year for the Hawthorn Football Club, which is the club’s centenary year. To celebrate Patient Wolf launched a limited-edition gin to mark 100 years of Hawthorn Football Club’s rich history, which is called ‘Centenary Gin.’ The design is inspired by the club’s spirit and premiership legacy. It was crucial to ensure the design had a clear connection back to the club in an authentic and recognizable way. The design uses the club’s bold and striking colours. But it had to be more than just a replica of the club’s jumper. The use of Dark and Latte brown as the main colour scheme allows the gold foil to stand out. This is complemented by a clear foil textured pattern that connects the label back to the Patient Wolf brand. The label is simple yet striking and is sure to be a winner with the club’s fans, whether they want to enjoy the product now, or savour it for the future.
